Opening doors for community engagement
The Office of Outreach & Engagement creates and coordinates opportunities to connect UConn with the community. Our goal is to build and strengthen partnerships that advance an inclusive society, environmental sustainability, and economic growth in Connecticut.

Assist
We help UConn faculty and staff develop partnerships with the local community to advance research, outreach, and teaching programs.

Connect
We connect community partners with UConn’s talent and resources to address local problems.

Support
We coordinate engagement activities across campus that result in educational experiences for students.

Develop
We create guidelines and training to promote productive and authentic partnerships within UConn and with the community.
“Our ultimate goal is to improve people’s lives. We want our potential partners to know about the great work that we do at UConn and that our doors are open to collaborate on building an institution that promotes sustainable development, an inclusive society, and scientific advancement.”
